“Shitty Person” (second title: “Occupant”) — a destroyed installation work that existed within the framework of the Burn or Buy auction in Warsaw, where unsold works were subject to physical destruction. The work was deliberately submitted by the artist to the project as a gesture of conceptual completion.

The composition was executed on a black canvas using a coarse-grained textured paste, forming a dense, almost soil-like surface. Within this material layer, the artist treated the canvas as a metaphor for earth, in which the figure of the occupier is inscribed as a symbolically “buried” body of aggression.

The work allowed for a dual reading: as a personified image of violence, looting, and war, and as an act of its final destruction through an artistic and public gesture. The physical burning of the piece became an integral part of the concept, concluding its existence as an object.

In this context, Shitty Person functioned as a ritual-like work, in which destruction is not a loss, but the final form of expression.
